Seems an odd comment to me. Most on here "Work for a living" and will miss the 'live' events. Doesn't stop them taking an active interest in the superb stuff that's going on for the Brits out there, though!

Never understood the 'sports fan'. Can understand people who like a single sport, be it the egg, cricket, tennis, golf, or whatever. But not all different sports.

Just football and music for me.

But, each to their own.
