TAN OUT

Mon Aug 15, 2016 6:11 pm

Long time browser, first time poster who has decided to take the plunge. I was first drawn to this board because it was ran by a true Cardiff fan and BLUE who fought for our colours and identity, sadly over time I have seen this board turn into nothing other than a support group for Vincent Tan, it seems most posters on here have forgotten the pain he caused us a fan base and as a club.

I was hugely against the red and was a member of the Bluebird Unite group. I fought Tan each and every week and walked out of the stadium every time he was the ground. I protested every way I knew how to get that vile man away from the club and for us to get our identity back. I watched as he sacked the best thing that happened to our club in Malky and watched as week by week he tightened his poisonous grip on what was a great football club.

I was pleased when he finally made the right decision and turned us back to blue but unlike many of the reds and jonny come lately fans I still do not forgive Tan. I will continue to fight him and will continue to drive him away. The mans pathetic reign over this club needs to be challenged and we as fans are the only people who can do it. You may all have been taken in by his recent announcements but I haven't and I am sad to see so many bluebirds on here and on the terraces have. You may tell me to move on but I simply can't, I simply won't. Not until he's gone.

Re: TAN OUT

And once you've succeeded in your mission to drive Tan out, what it the grand plan after that?!

Apart from changing us to Red - which has LONG since been reversed, what exactly has he done so wrong that makes him worse than a string of other owners/custodians before him? How can you be so sure that the next won't be another SH or Kumar or another Hull or Blackburn type owner and what would you expect them to deliver that Tan currently isn't?

Don't get me wrong, he's not perfect (is any owner?) and the lack of clarity on the direction of the club frustrates me, but this continued bitterness against Tan is just another excuse for people not to go (appreciate that might not apply to you).

Re: TAN OUT

Totally agree. He doesn't give a shit about the club. Why doesn't he do the right thing and sell up now, instead of waiting for the last parachute.

How many other Billionaires do you know that are willing to buy us then? I'm not a Tan fan by any stretch but until anyone pops and is willing to buy us then Tan is here to stay I'm afraid.

Because still have debt far in excess that any normal person would take on in buying club! After all the debt is swapped for equity in about 4 yrs then he'll probably sell as more financially viable to prospective owners until then no chance of tan leaving

no point saying how many billionaires want to buy us you dont have to be a billionaire to run us the way tan is he doesnt spend fuk all to improve the club we are going backwards infact, id rather take my chances with some chinese group who seem to all be looking into british football at the min with bags of cash to spend. considering tan has all these billions he doesnt seem ready to scrap the debt he has built for the club with his rediculous spending he is only interested in getting money back

If you follow what's goes on with city you would know that tan as put in place the reduction of debt to equity over the next 4yrs so that effectively club be debt free at that time !!!

It wasn't your heroic actions (which may having included shouting abuse at Tan's elderly Mother  ) which reversed the rebrand it was our relegation from the Premier League. :D

We've been back in blue for ages, tan doesnt visit anymore, his involvement in the team selection is speculation, hes agreed to turn debt to equity and he subsidises the club monthly while the costs are brought under control.

Like him or hate him he is not really doing anything wrong atm. and will a new owner be any better? Impossible to say.

better the devil you know, i say, and if he kicks off again text Old Ma Tan to sort it

Every time we have a bad period Tan always gets the blame! How many threads like this would we have had if we'd won the first two? None I'd say!

I'm getting bored with all of it if I'm honest. The man made some huge mistakes in the past but he's learned and is trying to do things right now. He cannot win either way.

Re: TAN OUT

Tan is fine right now, the club is starting to improve financially, the good feeling will return when results come and the fans will flock back I'm sure when we are challenging again. Tan hasn't been seen for a while but that's possibly a good thing as he keeps out of the headlines, which is where we'd all prefer him I think!
