' ANTHONY PILKINGTON? ? ? '

I was told today Cardiff City player Anthony Pilkington has asked for a new contract with City and is willing to sign up for another three years, but that City are stalling.

In the mean time apparently whilst QPR were at our stadium yesterday, they showed some interest in him and may approach our club with an offer.

Would you you sell Anthony Pilkington and if so how much? or would you sign him up for three more years?

For me Pilkington was outstanding last season and we need to hold on to him.

Might as well sell now. Didn't fit our system last season and certainly won't this season by the looks of it either.

Take £2m?

new contract definitely..but he's not going to get the same money he is on now

Our so called transfer committee need a kick up the arse...if they are not going to offer him a new contract they need to sell him now..not stall on talks all that means is he will be unsettled and probably move on for a pittance in January..everyone loses.

We have lost millions and millions by not having a "football man" behind the scenes sorting out contracts...when will Tan ever learn??? For a so called top business man he has made mistake after mistake at this club and just doesn't seem to learn from them

Another signed by OGS which probably means he is on a high wage so if decent offer comes in, above £1m sell him. A good player on his day but lacks a yard or three of pace and injury prone and as we need a striker to support Fred and score a few goals I'd rather see Healey or Harris given a go.

AP flatters to deceive and IMO should have come off yesterday at half-time. To accommodate him we are losing Lex from his best position. Sell all hands down £1-2m would be excellent business.

i dont think he fits this system and would sell if the moneys right

I actually find it encouraging he wants to stay if that is the case. That said, as others have pointed out, he is likely on a decent whack and a fee of £1-2m would be good business if it meant getting another striker in more suited to Trollope's system.

No money will be spent on in coming transfers. So if we sell, we will not use the money. We are BROKE :bluebird:

If we are playing with wingback where does it fit?

Best striker we have at the moment but no doubt on a very good wage. 1m and I'd sell.

Keep one of the only passionate players we have

Take the money, He will hold Immers back this season who is playing too deep.
Pilks too injury prone for me so cash in :bluebird:

Good player at this level. Would be good out on the wing for us but he is in fact a shit striker and is part of the problem why we cant score.

Look at the track record and wake up! Sell, strip assets and replace with a cheap option. Like i said, wake up....

Good point. But if playing with wingbacks, where does anybody fit? its still a 4-2-3-1 squad, and have been for a long time...

Good player. Change the friggin system. Can't stand it, despite the success of Cymru....We haven't got Fabio so there's no point. Pilks can play in a number of positions. Everyone was crap v. QPR. Even Immers was unconvincing as he was playing too deep.

If he is a high earner and is willing to take a pay cut then deffo offer him a new contract,
