' Proven Striker Cant Get a Game For Bluebirds '

We are paying his wages,so surely give Adam Le Fondre a chance?

Tan wants him gone, yes he's costly £25,000 a week, but surely he's more costly sat in the City DVP squad?

The remarkable table that ranks Cardiff City outcast Adam Le Fondre amongst the greatest Premier League goal aces

Le Fondre is unwanted by Bluebirds, yet new goals-per-minute table ranks him above Suarez and second only to Aguero and Henry in Premier League history

Yet Le Fondre's Premier League record still saw him net every 124 minutes for Reading.

Adam Le Fondre finds the net for Reading, a sight that has been too uncommon in a Bluebirds shirt

Cardiff City outcast Adam Le Fondre has been called quite a few things during his career, mostly good, some bad.

But being mentioned in the same Premier League goal-getting sentence as Segio Aguero and Thierry Henry is probably a new one even for the Bluebirds man, who has had such a topsy-turvy career.

Yet as Paul Trollope's Cardiff struggle to score even a solitary goal this season, a new table has emerged which shows Le Fondre right at the cutting edge of strikers in Premier League history with the best top-flight goal per minutes played records.

The statistics have been published by the Manchester Evening News as Argentinian hit-man Aguero celebrates his five-year anniversary as a Manchester City player.

It was on this day in August 2011 that Aguero made his Premier League debut against Swansea, coming off the bench to score twice past Michel Vorm in a 4-0 win.

They were the first of 103 goals Aguero has fired for City in the Premier League, giving him the best goals-to-minutes ratio with one every 108 minutes.

Aguero's closest challenger is former Arsenal hot-shot Henry, who managed a goal every 122 minutes during his glittering time with the Gunners.

Also featuring high up on the list are former Manchester United strikers Ruud van Nistelrooy, Chicharito and Robin van Persie, as well as ex-Liverpool forward Luis Suarez and Spurs Golden Boot winner Harry Kane.

They each boast a scoring record better than a goal every game and a half - yet eclipsing the lot of them happens to be Le Fondre.

His goal tally, of course, is much smaller than that of the peers he has suddenly been bracketed next to.

Yet Le Fondre's Premier League record still saw him net every 124 minutes for Reading.

The 12 goals he struck in the Royals' 2012-13 season came against Everton (two), Newcastle (two), Chelsea (two), Stoke, Man Utd, Arsenal, West Brom, Fulham and West Ham.

It is that type of goal-getting prowess, coupled with the 15 he hit the following season, that persuaded the Bluebirds to sign Le Fondre for a fee touching £3m.

Yet it just hasn't worked out for him in the Welsh capital.

In 2014-15, Le Fondre had managed just three goals by Christmas when he was loaned out by Russell Slade to Bolton.

Le Fondre found his goal touch once more in the north west, scoring eight times in 17 Trotters appearances, yet still Slade chose to loan him to Wolves for the whole of last season.

This time around, under new management, Le Fondre would have been hoping for a chance under Paul Trollope.

Yet the Bluebirds have made it clear he can leave during the August window and he continues to play no part, even though Trollope's side have yet to score a single goal in games against QPR, Birmingham and Bristol Rovers.

If only Le Fondre could rediscover that Premier League goal form...

He isn't a proven striker any more hopeless for us ,wolves and Bolton, I don't blame the club for wanting him gone his attitude has been awful,if he was that good clubs would be queing up to sign him

If he wants to play before he's moved on and Trollope thinks his attitude is right then play him.
Let him put himself in the shop window.

IMO he's a gobshite
Don't think he's even getting a game for the development squad now
He's made more money than
he will ever spend
So where's his pride
He's said on many occasions he does not want to be a Cardiff player
And still people make exscuse so for him

The one question we need to answer including Trollope,is he more likely to score you a goal

He's had his chance and blown it. We need to sign two strikers and if Tan doesn't invest then crowds will plummet rapidly. I'll be there whatever....but how many are that dedicated/ mad?

May have been proven striker especially in lower leagues but past two seasons with us and out on loan he's been useless , how many chances does he need and can we afford to wait for him to gain his touch again if he will that is!!!

Ffs he can't even score against under 21s
He's fu..ing useless and doesn't give a shit about Cardiff city
As long he's getting his £30k a week he will never leave
Why can't some of fans see this
