" Depressing "

A fresh season usually means fresh hope and although we failed to score at Birmingham it felt like a good away point with chances made, then came Bristol Rovers and a dire game that was difficult to watch, we did not look like scoring and doubts started to develop and now today and a total collapse second half after an ordinary chance less first half...it all is really depressing, especially seeing the options we have up front....Freddie is ok for a back up squad player but not the main striker role...ZOHORE needs to go out on loan to ...........Well anywhere away from Cardiff City...not good enough for the squad....so then we have Alf and Macheda on big wages whether they play or not playing in the development team....surely they are no worse than what we have and might as well play if getting paid???? They will have more chance of getting a move if they are playing .

We don't look like scoring ,we have no strikers and are struggling to play a system that works well with Bale, Ramsey Allen HRK etc our midfield seemed over run today and it's not working ....it's depressing and the squad needs urgent improving or it's going to be a long boring season

That maybe it mate, such an awesome Euros but we knew that was a hard act to follow and didn't expect City to do that, but the fans need entertainment and chances created, a bit of excitement, it could easily have ended 0-0 today but one thing looked obvious to me and that was we were never going to score ...you have to shoot to score or at least make a few chances and we went 90 minutes without doing either in a home match ...which does not bode well

there still seems to a a lack of pace and urgency in the team as we seem to slow the play down too much.
I know it is early days but 3 games in a week and we haven't scored a goal .....Fred ran around and worked hard but all this work was outside the box with Pilkington and Immers playing too far away from him to link up,

Where's that YouTube video of the Derby game when Chopra ran them ragged feeding on the astute passing of Steve McPhail to cheer me up !?
