How does Tan now look at CCFC?

Sun Aug 14, 2016 4:21 pm

With this season being the last season of PL parachute payments to us (I Believe).
Will Tan look at the club as his worst business decision, or will he have made enough money along the way with tax write offs etc, for the purchase of this club to have been a decent business decision to his worldwide portfolio?
When will he offload, or will he keep this as a UK interest for tax write off purposes :bluebird:

As a failed business venture that he needs to get out of as quickly as possible whilst recouping as much of his losses as he can.

I'll say this for Tan - he's stuck to his word. If we're red he'll provide money for players - if we're blue he'll provide f**k all. That's what he said and that's what he's done.

And will continue to do until he can sell the club.

Yes, he did say this, or word to that effect. He also said that if he did eventually leave, then he would leave the club in a better position than when he arrived???

Where were we when he arrived? Was it the year of the play-off final? If so, that means we're stuck with him until we get promoted again! :o :o

people saying that him clearing the debts is his way of doing some good at the club, truth is, if the club is debt free, its easier to sell. sooner he can find a buyer the better

We actually have two more years of parachute payments including this season...but like everyone else on this forum I have no idea what he thinks of us or what his plans are

If he leaves the club debt free even if it's in League 2 it will be better off than when he arrived.

I thought this was our last year of parachute payments? Thought it was three years after relegation?

Correct but to be fair to him, if he does clear the debts that really is doing the club some good! :ayatollah:

Don't get me wrong, I don't believe we will be any better while hes here, in fact, we will slowly see things getting worse,,,starting with today's performance as an example.
