James Harper signs for Hull

Along with Nobby Solano.

Pity I'd hoped that we could go for Harper.

can you jog my memory?? harper was on loan with us from arsenal was it,,,, and he turned us down and went where, i remember booing him down the city, when he played against us,????

Yeah I remember him playing in division three on loan from Arsenal, I think it was just after Weston joined from Arsenal and Sam joined. He did turn us down and he did get boo's but then again the likes of Bowen and Leggy got bood by home fans and IMO he is good enough to get past that and most fans wouldnt even remember it. I think he would have been an excellent signing.

Im not 100% but I thought it was, we were division 3 (league 2 now) and they were division 2 (league one now).
So it was a step up but everything looked so positive at city at the time I remember being surprised
