McNaughton and the club have long been trying to nail down a date, and that has now been confirmed as March 23, 2017. The opposition and timing of the match are yet to be revealed.
The player, who now stars for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, said a date had previously been set for the clash on Saturday, July 30, but this had to be cancelled when a pre-season friendly at Bournemouth was arranged.

Stupid date as thousands of city fans will be in Dublin including me. They have had nearly 2 years to sort a date out and they pick the international break where it's the easiest to get to.
What mug picked this date?

So could be anyone really.

Still fuming about this date.
Surely the club can move it back one day to Wednesday to accommodate those going to Dublin.
