Everton have completed the signing of central defender Ashley Williams from Swansea City on a three-year contract.
Wednesday 10th August 2016
The transfer fee for the 31-year-old, who captained Wales in their march to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, has not been disclosed but a figure of £12m was agreed on Tuesday, according to Sky sources.
Everton's capture of Williams makes him the club's sixth signing of the summer and he replaces John Stones, who joined Manchester City for £47.5m on Tuesday, in Ronald Koeman's squad.
