HELP NEEDED: A COWARDLY AND BRUTAL ATTACK!!

Young mother suffers fractured eye socket from brutal unprovoked attack after wedding reception

A young mum suffered a fractured eye socket when a yob punched her in the face in an unprovoked assault moments after leaving a friend’s wedding reception.

Alicia Forcey, 21, was attacked when she headed to a local chippy for a late-night takeaway with a male friend.

As she waited for her food, a group of four young lads began chest-bumping her and taunting her to “come on then” before launching an attack on her friend.

As the fight made its way outside, Alicia tried to break it up but was attacked by two girls and out of nowhere one of the youths repeatedly punched her in the face.

Alicia, a stay at home mum, was covered in blood after her nose “exploded” and has been left with a fractured eye socket and suspected broken nose.

Alicia, from Barry, Wales, said: “I got punched a few times in the face out of nowhere, completely unprovoked and I didn’t even have time to react before they all ran off.

“I was covered in blood and at the time I think as my adrenaline was going, I didn’t really feel any pain.
“But now it’s a few days on the realisation of it all is kicking in and the pain is getting worse.”

Alicia said her male friend, who does not want to be named, had told the yobs they weren’t after trouble but they jumped him and repeatedly punched him first.

One of the males then walked up to Alicia as the girls were pulling her hair and punched her multiple times in the face, causing blood to stream down.

Alicia added: “I don’t even know how it all happened, the first thing I knew was that my hair was getting pulled.

“This girl started on me and I really wasn’t expecting it, I wasn’t ready for any of it, I was just so jolly and then that happened.”
Alicia’s mother, Leona Tudor-Maisey, 40, had parked nearby waiting to give the pair a lift home and jumped in to break up the assault in Penarth.

The shop assistant said: “I was waiting parked up outside and then the next thing I just heard all of this screaming, it was horrible.

“I turned around and saw this girl grabbing my daughter‘s hair so I rushed over to break it up but then this young lad came out of nowhere and smashed her in the face.

“Her nose just exploded, there was blood everywhere, but then they all ran off. It was so fast that it was all over in about two minutes. It was horrific to see.

“Alicia had been in a lovely mood, she’d had a lovely day but she went in for a bag of chips and ended up battered.”
Alicia, mum to two-year-old Zac, said her little boy was scared of her after seeing the state of her badly swollen and bruised face.

She went to the University Hospital of Wales shortly after the attack as Alicia suffers from epilepsy and her mum was worried she might have a seizure.

They spent five hours at hospital and thankfully she hasn’t had a seizure yet but she needs to get further x-rays once the swelling has gone down.

Alicia said she rarely dresses up or goes for nights out but had even posted one-off selfies of herself on Facebook before the wedding reception looking glam.

Pictures which showed the horrific injuries she suffered were later uploaded on Facebook by mum Leona to show people how shocking the random incident was.

South Wales Police confirmed they are investigating the incident and no arrests have currently been made.

They are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information should call 101 quoting reference number 298405.

I was up A&E when your niece came in. Disgusting what happened. Fair play to her she didn't show any pain.

On a side note, not a swipe at the Nurses and Doctors really but I can't believe they had her waiting in A&E for so long. I would have thought she would be straight through to get seen

The more witnesses the better, I have heard they may have some footage but I dont know how good it is. Its all rumours and hearsay alot of it so its down to the Police to do their job to sort through it.I have heard talk of someone braging about it and removing their Facebook profile which if true is pretty daming! Im glad they have because its best all around if I dont know what they look like!

I've also heard all about the alleged revenge against him etc.
I hope your niece and her boyfriend are recovering well as I've heard they are a nice couple and rarely actually go out to pubs or parties like that.
