Prefer dummett but he's first choice at Newcastle now

Ain't seen much of this guy could be worth a gamble though

We've already got Fabio's replacement in the squad.

David Tutonda.

He is, Tutonda played full back when we switched to 442 I don't think he's a wing back

Tutonda is an attacking fullback, i watched the dev team a lot last season.
Available to slot in at center back when needed shows good football intelligence, similar to what Ben Davies done at Euros

Tutonda is normally considered a left back, but played as the left centre back at least once on the pre-season tour.

He had loan spells at Newport and York over the past 18 months (12 starts in each) and with both he was used as a left sided wing back.

I think we should be looking to promote our own youth players before taking a punt on promising young players from other clubs - especially as in this case where Tutonda is now 20, has done his time in the DVP and on loan, has been introduced into the first team squad by Trollope, and now needs to play. He is a defender with pace who likes to attack - all the raw materials needed for a wing back. I haven't seen much of him, but what I have seen was good.

We've all complained long enough about Cardiff youth players being blocked from the first team. Give him a chance - at least as bench cover.

Dummett isn't that good. Newcastle fans don't seem to rate him much, and I'm a bit suspicious of his commitment to Wales - seems to have pulled out a lot because of injuries (many of which admittedly can't be helped).
