A forum for all things Cardiff City

From football-league.co.uk Twitter :
Blackburn Rovers & Cardiff City are set to do battle to bring in Bolton's Josh Vela #BRFC #BWFC #CardiffCity
Vela is a right back who can also play midfield and was apparently a transfer target of ours last January.
Is this story arises because of the Fabio to Boro link ?
Do you rate Vela and would you be happy to see him sign ?

Can't believe this, unless we see him as a wing-back. Our priorities must be goalscorers.....two, preferably!

Adaptable type who would be a nice squad fit.

Good player but a striker must be our main target surely? I would say midfield is our strongest area with Whitts, Ralls, Gunnarsson, O'Keefe and fringe players like Adeyemi and Dickagoi.

But how do you know that a striker is not our main target just because we may be looking at a fullback as well?

Just reading about interest in Gunners. If Vela's being targeted as his replacement, that's fine. While we're at it, why don't we offer ALF to Bolton in a deal for Clough.

Really hope the rumour about Emyr Huws has some substance in it. Much better player.
