All we need is a goalscorer and quick winger and we could be right up there.
With Fabio going as well as ALF, Dikajoi and Macheda there should be at least some money to invest from the fees and, in particular, the wages so let's see exactly how ambitious the club is this year.

We all know we can't afford to bring anyone else in until a couple of players have gone. That's good to know, as we know the club are watching the finances and financial fair play - we don't want a repeat of last year.
But I think it's important we bring in a striker who will score goals. I think Gounongbe will be an important player for us, but he shouldn't be used as our main goalscoring threat.
Possibly a new wide player with pace as well.
But, like I say, it probably won't happen until Fabio, Le Fondre and Macheda have gone.

If we are to compete toward the top end of this league we need to strengthen in particular areas, and we all know that scoring goals is one of the big problems we will have with the players who are here. Trollope is obviously not living an a world of fantasy, and I am sure he knows that the current squad will not be in the promotion battle without the addition of a bit of quality.
I don't think we are a million miles away, and some clever wheeling and dealing may make all the difference. Quite a few other clubs are in a similar position, so I guess it may come down to which manager can be clever enough with the limited resources available.

I think you will find that supporters have been pointing out lack of pace and a natural goalscorer for a lot longer than a few weeks,to no avail I'm sorry to say
