O/T Android Box

Hi guys and gals,
I've got a android box which I was using sporadically to watch films etc tried to use it this morning and it switches on but just gives me the Android slogan across the screen and nothing else happens. Has anyone else had this issue? Do I need to reset and start again or is it maybe more sinister and the box is buggered? The remote is unresponsive (or the box is unresponsive to the remote) and the only way to switch it off is at the plug socket as the standby button on the box isn't doing anything.. Any advice?

Has a mattet of interest ,was the box an expensive one or more a budget model ..sometimes the cheaper ones are "clones" and they sometimes wipe themsleves and you lose everything...

I would try to reset the box first before throwing it away. Google the right way to do the reset. If it works then try to download the most recent firmware.

If all else fails just bin it and get another one. I bought this one recently and it has everything I need for £32 - http://www.gearbest.com/tv-box-mini-pc/pp_349813.html - made in China yes but they are all made in China.

If you cannot start it up to reset look for a small hole in the casing around the back.

You can stick a pin in it, hear for a click and leave it pressed in while restarting the box

Put new batteries in the remote..?

It was a cheap ish one from Amazon,

Think it cost about £30 I just had to install fusion and Phoenix on it. I've just read through reviews and it seems others have had a similar issue. I'll have a look at the one suggested above! Cheers all
