Jazz Richards

Sat Aug 06, 2016 5:11 pm

My best mates Daughter is a very close friend of Jazz and he is getting lots of sh1t from the locals for signing for us.
He lives in Swansea, and goes out in Swansea.
He's been told by a few of Swanseas finest that if he does the Ayatollah then he had better watch his back.
Maybe he's looking after his welfare?

Find that hard time believe...but I got a feeling this is going to rumble on and on...the guy is not going to be accepted if he continues not to do it...just tap your head and it's all forgotten

He's gonna get a lot more shit for NOT doing it!!!

If he's not careful his City career and his football career could be over before its began .

Silly little jack prick if that's the case

Time for him to go and join the under 21's squad.

Adam Matthews was from Swansea and done the Ayatollah on countless occasions and regardless of his Swansea connections, he was treated as one of our own. Additionally, Jazz came through our academy before he went to Swansea and started playing football, so its not as if he not aware of the club culture or identity.

People may think the Ayatollah is pointless, but its part of the fans celebration and identity of our club. Entirely up to the player if he wants to do the Ayatollah or not, but us fans are paying his wages, and he should respect the fans, regardless if he likes it or not.

Hes been given an opportunity to revive his career at Cardiff, especially the poor season hes had at Fulham. This would have been a great opportunity for him to be accepted by the City fans....but I feel he has now shot himself in the foot.

He did the ayatollah - whatever some on here think.

Hundreds of city fans cheered him when he did it. 1st half - just shy of 30 minutes in when Birmingham won a corner.

Hundreds of other city fans were more interested in goading the fat Brummie at the top of the side stand to take his shirt off and weren't even looking at the pitch!

He may have ignored or not heard calls for him to do it 6 or 7 times earlier. He may not have looked like he enjoyed doing it. But he did do it.

Time to end the nonsense, the made up stories about death threats and contract exclusions, and move on. Jazz Richards is a City player - and I want him to perform for us on the grass - not get distracted by rubbish like this.

he was out with a few swansea players last sunday and is reluctantly going to do it to keep the fans off his back

Re: Jazz Richards

I've been away for a few days, and come back to all this crap on here. Honestly, who cares, leave the lad alone. We must have the highest percentage of moronic supporters in the UK,who honestly gives a f##k if he does it or not.
Play well for us is all the majority ask for, the head tapping bollocks will soon be forgotten about.

Here's a thought?

Don't sign for Cardiff City if you're not going to do the ayatollah. :D

We've all heard lots of things. I know what I saw at the ground.

He didn't respond to shouts from the away fans to do the ayatollah on 6 or 7 occasions - some of them he was actually playing football and concentrating on his job. He didn't tap his head when Peltier and Immers tried to get him to do it. He got booed and abused as a 'Jack b*stard' by a few away fans. He eventually did the ayatollah just before the 30 minute mark when Birmingham were setting up for a corner. A lot of our fans cheered him - others didn't notice. You can hear, but not see it on CC Player.

He had chances to do it earlier - and I think he was daft not to. It contributed to Ayatollahgate.

However, he did do it and that should be the end.

When you go and watch us, is this what you're concerned about, whether a player does the ayatollah or not? I'm more interested in how they perform, not if they tap their head or not.

It shows a connection between the player, the football club and the fans in my eyes. :ayatollah:

Re: Jazz Richards

If he got any sence and I am sure Trollop will tell him the same before kick off against QPR do the ayatollah.

He does play for Cardiff City now and should do it, it is not like the swim away gesture that the jacks did as that was to do
with football hooligans as the Ayatollah is just us loonies doing something different to all other clubs so we have become proud
of the Ayatollah.

If he is getting threats from Jacks then he should leave what happens if they say he cant score he is going to do a Chopra at Sunderland

Yep, he certainly did do it (twice according to some) but I only saw the one. People are pretty desperate if they still cling on to the "he didn't do it" theory but I guess when they're desperate for anything that will drag individual players or the club itself down they will clutch at anything!

He can't help where he was born and his real 'friends' will support him in his chosen career wherever that will be because they want him to be successful; even at Cardiff City FC

Our fans should simply judge him on his play (as most will) ;)
