Fred didn't expect the ball to come to his feet a lot of strikers have these misses.

No offence Rydo, but we do need a striker that expects the ball comes to his feet!

Should definitely score. Great effort by Whitts and Immers, John looked good attacking but got caught out back post 1st half and got let off.

Was it Connolly who the keeper made a good save from off Whitts free kick?

Wow that sitter was awful :( I think Fred will come good but he needs to be putting them in the back off the net

You are my favourite poster mate. This was a truly dreadful miss but you will always defend the bluebirds.
I respect that (though it often makes me laugh) :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Oh thanks :laughing6:  there have been world class strikers that have missed sitters just hope it doesn't dent his confidence and he gets some goals in the coming games. :ayatollah:

I was at the game today and fans around me said he was offside any way and it would not of counted

Didn't see a flag and whether he was offside or not it was a truly shocking miss.

As a striker you should always be aware to the possibility of the ball coming at you with a very short reaction time.

Apart from the miss and one "heads down" run in the second half he looked to pose very little threat.

Early days so hopefully he'll improve.

Shocking miss but it looked a very good performance yesterday and looking very positive for the season.
