One of my favourite Bluebirds players, but he deserves to be playing at a higher level, and £2m (if true) is a great figure given he's out of contract at the end of this season.

There are plenty of clubs with goalkeepers as captain, people look too much into who wears the armband, just because your not wearing one doesn't mean you can't be a leader

I don't think Marshy has the type of ego to have that in his contract. Maybe he's a fantastic character to have in the changing room and the players respect him. Perhaps that's why he deserves to be captain. Trollope has been here long enough to see what type of man he is.
