Not fully clued up on religion but wasn't st David a catholic Saint ......could be wrong .
Catholic Saint on a well known Protestant supported football club flag .

Anyone shed any light on this ?

Don't believe in any flavour of sky fairy myself but..... St David lived in the 6th century, the Reformation was in the 16th so he definately wouldn't have been a Welsh Baptist. I'm a member of the Cardiff RSC and the religion of the guy who gave his name to the flag was never thought of, why is it a problem for you

Thankyou we wanted a Welsh Emblem on it in respect to our Welsh members, some of the boys went up for the game and gave it its first outing.

The Brixklayers Arms was ran by a Rangers Fan don't know if it had flags up as I never visited it. Rangers connection to Loyalism is due to many Ulstermen coming to Glasgow to work in the shipyards who watched Rangers on a Saturday, what the fekk any of it has to do with the Jacks is a mystery but I can tell you this Rangers Football Club or Rangers Fans want nothing to do with the Mongtards from Jackland, our club has many members who are also City season ticket holders.

Exactly, I've watched Gers games in Cardiff with people various branches of Christianity, Bhudism, and Islam however I'd suggest most don't attend any religious services. We are,as you say, a social group for the Rangers Fanbase in Cardiff, nothing more.

I used to watch them in the 90s when I lived there. Every week you had buses from all over England including as far away as Plymouth.
Cracking support in the 90s.
