" My views on today's open day "

Simon more has not signed for charlton on loan his words never mate

Fabio missing from training his words just resting
Pilks and Morrison both missing also, IMO only ,also resting
Ben Wilson was the most impressive today brilliant in training
Lenny Lawrence took the defence training of peltier manga Connelly jazz and Declan
Mainly they were practicing moving the ball across the back 3 to either jazz or Declan
And jazz or Declan were then playing it quickly infield upto the strikers who for training purposes were sayi and tutonda
I believe the use of these two were to involve them so as they could see what was required as a back 3 should they be called upon

The midfielders and strikers were under Trollope supervision
Mainly playing one twos in the middle which was then played wide to ralls or Kennedy to cross
Sadly the finishing wasnt brilliant by Freddi and zohore
Noone and Harris were used centrally either running into the box or playing it wide whitts and o keefe were the main one two players as was gunnerson
There was one or two youngsters also involved who sadly I don't know ( even though I watched all the under 21friendlies this pre season f/ green ,havent and waterlooville and Exeter )
I will try to get to know more of them I promise

Then finally players and management went around signing autographs and having photos with all the kids going home very happy ( and some of the older ones aswell

Wonder why players would be "resting" two days before the start of the season?

If they're tired already god help us! :o

By "some of the older ones as well" I assume that means Dai Hunt was there today!

Think the defence picks itself , connelly manga , and either morrison if fit or peltier
probably jazz and fabio to start
pilks immers and freddy up top
but I cant workout the two midfielders
but our bench looks strong and very adaptable so we have a plan a to start ,and from what im seeing a plan b ,c, or even d .
happy days bring on the brum cant wait

Cheers Steve, a good read :ayatollah:

Think it's always good to have events like this. Helps with the relationship between club and fans.

They've prob just been smashed in pre season and could Benifit from a day off keep your knickers on.

Morrison just back from injury
pilks as we all know suffers and is allways strapped up for games and never stops running
fabio is allways fully commited
doesnt matter if its start of season or end of season
rest if needed is no problem

Jeez, always looking for negatives!
Rest is just as important as training.

When I used to go down the training ground
some players trained
some had r and r
some did gym or pool
then they rotated
its normal to rest aswell

Do you read every one of my posts?

If you did you'd see that I'm not always negative but unlike some on here I don't take the view that everything the club does is brilliant, that everything is going to work out fine and that we'll be promoted as Champions every season we play.

My comment was meant to be tongue in cheek - perhaps I should have put a ;) instead of a :o !

Some people on this forum would not have a word of criticism levelled at the club no matter what they do or don't do.

Evryone's entitled to their opinion. There are posters on here who will back everything the club does and good luck to them.
I don't criticse those people who are always positive even if I don't agree with them.
