Everton coming back for Ashley Williams after Swansea turned down their £10mill bid for him.

Let’s begin with that news that broke late last night on Everton’s plans to return for Ashley Williams.

It seems the Blues have not given up hope of landing the 31-year-old centre-back and will offer more money to land their manager’s top defensive target.

Williams had been expected to move to Merseyside earlier this week but the Swans sensationally rejected their £10 million bid on Tuesday night.

imo i think swansea are playing cat and mouse with everton and are just waiting how much they get for john stones from man city he if he goes for 50 mil then swansea could ask for 15 to 20 mill for williams only that williams is capt of wales i couldn't care less

this is one of the transfers where swansea have to reject even £15m, which is probably more than what he is worth into his 30's. williams is simply too important to swansea, and with the stakes being higher than ever before financially, he must stay. they are not in a position where they can lose him.

even if they get £15m, they can't replace him with someone who is guaranteed to perform to the same standard and lead the team in the way williams does.
