Its easy to spend £10/20 million in this league but not so easy to get promoted from it

Exactly, I think we'll be competitive and still spending within our means, I'm not expecting promotion this season, just some good football using some of our younger players mixed with experience.
After our last couple seasons watching Slades rubbish football, I'm just looking forward to some good football from a forward thinking young manager. It's the first time in a few years that I'm getting excited about the start of the season.![]()

He's not just negative, he's miserable and he's already forgotten we've just come out of a transfer embargo, for breaching the financial Fair Play rules!
He's also forgotten in making this statement "a lot of supporters will be casting envious glances at supporters of clubs who are investing in their teams a lot more than City are doing or will ever do as long as Tan owns our club" that although Tan was very naive in trusting OGS, that he did spend a ridiculous amount of money in backing him, but it's down to OGS's frivolous spending during his time in charge, that we now find ourselves in this period of austerity!

Added to the fact that Tan has invested over 120 million quid since he's been here.
