Cardiff City will enjoy strong support from travelling fans when their Championship season gets underway next Saturday at St Andrews.
The club have already sold the initial allocation of 1100 tickets, with more now available eight days away from the game.
About 2,500 fans could make the trip should the demand be there.
The news comes as a real boost for the club as new Head Coach Paul Trollope looks to get his time in the Bluebirds' dug-out off to a positive start. He has spoken about trying to unite the club in pre-season and stronger crowds will undoubtedly be a key part of that.
The strong sales have already surpassed many of the followings for last season's away games.
Fans seem to have been encouraged by Trollope's tactical switches in pre-season, with ultra-attacking wing-backs starring in a 3-5-2 formation that brought Wales so much joy in the summer.
