viewtopic.php?f=2&t=175319&hilit=GrimsbyMore arrests are expected following the outbreak of violence and disorder in Cleethorpes at the weekend as Grimsby Town hosted Sheffield United for a pre-season friendly.
Four of the six people arrested on Saturday have been charged - three from Sheffield and one from Grimsby - and police are now scouring CCTV and police helicopter footage in order to identify further troublemakers.
As reported, Cleethorpes witnesses some of the worst football-related violence seen since 1982, with Sheffield 'fans' running amok in the resort, clashing with police, throwing bottles and causing damage.
Bars were forced to shut from 5pm to 7pm to enable police to contain the crowds, costing them thousands of pounds in lost revenue.
