Where Will We Finish- POLL

With just a few weeks until the new season kicks off where do you see City finishing this season?

Although Trollope has taken over and we are likely to see a different formation I expect us to find it difficult especially when many teams have strengthened considerably. Based on our current squad I cannot see us scoring many goals and a mid table season beckons.

I think we'll set up to be hard to be beat and not drop all those easy points like last year. So a slightly better finish for me, Playoffs (6th place)

tbh i think newcastle will run away with it i do think 2nd is up for grabs but we must get into the top 6 otherwise the season is a failure

Automatic for me. If we don't aim for the top with confidence at this early stage, then how would we expect our team to react?

100% wez, he defends from the front, is technically sound and intelligent. If our wingbacks can get enough balls in the box he'll get a good return this year

We have the makings of a very good side and with a couple of really good additions in Lex and Jazz ( dont know much about Gounongbe but its about time we had a good striker - after years of being spoilt for goalscorers we've struggled in this area for a while ) I am confident of a top six finish.

Unless we strengthen the squad I feel we have no chance of getting near the play offs. I don't think our current squad is any better than last season, and this is a tougher league this time around. I can't see us getting into the top 10 without spending money, and I can't see money being made available.

Can't really vote because under a new manager I really don't know. I'm feeling only good things this season in my bones. Let's see how the new formation holds up and the new or returning players perform under Trollepe.

Cannot believe that 27% believe that we will be promoted and 54% believe that we will at least make the play offs.

It's called being realistic. We had the same ridiculous predictions last season from some on here including us winning the league. I have stated where I think we will finish and not where I want us to finish. I was'nt far out last season, and I don't think I'll be far out again.

Play offs has to be the target however be happy to see a manager who sets us up with intent and can see a team with potential to progress.

To be fair he was'nt the only one to come out with ridiculous predictions. A lot of fans on this forum believed the spin coming from the top, and for some reason thought Trollope and a new formation was going to work miracles. Lost count of the number of people who said we had a strong squad, and I must be missing something there. Did'nt think we had a good squad before we started selling our better players. Whoever manages this current group of players will have their work cut out, we are nowhere near being a strong squad, and our league position is down to more than just one man.

This would be funny if it weren't so sad and hopeless... How Russell Slade can have dine so well last season is a minor miracle!

I suppose some of the predictions here are not the craziest comments on this forum. A couple of months back some joker made a post claiming the Bristol City bubble had burst, based on a defeat. Wonder if he still feels the same.
