Only joined up with the team yesterday after signing from Fulham and spent most of his summer with Wales at Euro 2016.
What's the situation?
Richards had his screening and testing done yesterday after joining up with the squad and is out with the players here in Germany. Paul Trollope has said he has settled well in the squad, already knowing a few of his team-mates.
He seems to be in good shape and there are certainly no real concerns over his fitness.
So when will he return?
"Very soon", says Trollope. That could mean in appearance in one of the two hour-long tournament games on Saturday or potentially the friendly against Bochum in Herne.
