' UPDATE ON THREE OF CARDIFF'S MAIN INJURED PLAYERS '

SEAN MORRISSON '
What's the background?
Morrison underwent an ankle injury at the end of last season and had at that point been a doubt for the start of this new campaign.
What's the situation?
The signs look very promising. Morrison is yet to have any pre-season football but is back training on the grass with his team-mates and is making excellent progress.
When will he be ready to play?
Trollope is hopeful that he could feature in the tournament on Saturday. If not, he is a strong contender to play against Bochum.

' LEE PELTIER '
What's the background?
Lee Peltier, like Morrison, is another easing his way back into fitness after a long-term injury. The right-back finished the season against Birmingham but has needed treatment since.
What's the situation?
Peltier is said to have made really good progress and Trollope is looking forward to having him back in his ranks.
When will he be ready to play?
Like Morrison, he is in contention for Saturday and certainly for the Bochum game. For all of these players, the game against Bournemouth on the 30th will be key to prove they are ready for the new season.

' ARON GUNNARSSON '
What's the background?
Had some time off after his Euro 2016 heroics and returned to the squad with Jazz Richards yesterday.
What's the situation?
Gunnarsson went through the standard testing procedures before a hard day's training and looks to be in great shape.
When will he be ready to play?
The Iceland star is fit and will be back imminently.
' PLUS JAZZ RICHARDS ' Has passed All his medicals/Scans etc and is now with the Bluebirds in Germany
