Good player but £25m?
The prices being paid for players now is just getting ridiculous. He's probably worth £8m - £10m at most.
And of course in our division we have £10m Dwight Gayle.
Strange to say when we have a billionaire owner but we'll never be able to compete with even the most average Premier League team when decent (but not great) players are being transferred for that sort of money.

I agree, but at that price the Jacks resolve should be severely tested. These days it seem that a player proven at championship level costs at least a couple of million.

Hope they sell one of their better players, the rest look like a bunch of championship players, going down next year.

£25million would be a bargain,he was the highest scoring midfielder in the division last season and provided loads of assists,he is a class player, just because they are our rivals it's silly to pretend they are championship players if they were they would not have stayed comfortably in the Premiership for the last 6 years, they will get more than that if they wish to sell, the prices in the Premiership now are massive even ordinary players are going for £10 million plus.
There will be a lot of clubs interested if he does become available, high scoring midfielders are like gold dust in the Premiership
and command top dollar.£30 million minimum would be my guess.

Jordan Ibe went for 15 million so that would make Sigurdson 25 million easily, crazy prices around which is making the gap even bigger between Championship and Premiership sides. However, a few bad signings could be disasterous, let's hope they are in for A-Corn
