Home Pre season games?

Are we not having them this year?

Doesn't look like it. Two more games in Germany on Saturday and one on Tuesday, with Bournemouth away next Saturday. Week after that is Birmingham away in the first game.

Doesn't really suprise me, better to have away pre-season games I think. Not many will want to go to a pre-season friendly at home. Also gets the team back in a routine of travelling in a group again.

Gives the ground-staff chance to make sure the pitch is in perfect condition for our first home league game, and to give it every chance of lasting through the season - we don't want a repeat of last season's pitch in the second half of the season.

Ryan, I believe its something to do with the restructuring of the playing surface, including its foundations. There was a lot of displeasure at the quality of the surface over recent years and the club have taken steps to remedy the problem, so there was a decision to leave the grass as long as possible to establish itself

I believe it is with the much appreciated help of the FAW, who now have a vested interest in what is now their official 'home' pitch in the capital city of Wales

After years of failure, I think the FAW are really starting to step up to the mark and deserve a rare pat on the back (and it takes a lot for me to say that)
