If he does then we are definitely all playing for second place.

5.5million???? Is he really that good????
But in fairness Newcastle could possibly run away with the championship....Ritchie and Gayle are both fantastic signing for the championship and with Newcastle looking likely to recoup a fair amount of cash by selling some of their premadonas their spending probably hasn't finished yet

Last time they came down they went straight back up with the same team more or less which was far too good for this division but the scenario is different this time.No jogging along in third or forth for them its top 2 from start to finish or I can see a Spaniards guts being spilt all over the north east.

I have a feeling we will do the double on them as we always fair well against the bigger teams! Plus we have some new killer formations and a bit of fresh thinking!

Just like we did last time they were in the championship when they hammered us home and away !!!
Hopefully this time it will be different I do think we are going to be difficult to beat this season

Hardly call 1-0 a hammering and if memorie serves me right didn't they go down to 10 men because smith took out someone when we were one on one with the keeper with 5 mins left, although yes they did hammer us away 5-1 I think

Can't believe they've spent that much on him! He's like a Championship Neil Ruddock, no nonsense, physical, but lacks pace.

It was 2-0 to them at our place wasn't it and we never looked like winning that game, even when they were down to 10 men - they were miles better than we were.
And they really smashed us at their place - Andy Carroll ran riot against our defence.

Sorry Thomas, you were right, it was indeed 1-0 to them at CCS.
