It'll cost me £70 for me and my 3 boys plus travel and food. Looking at 150 quid for a day out in Brum. Think I'll give it a miss.

Decent time to have them away as it's school holidays and about 2 hour journey.. also new manager and a big season with a new style of play hopefully. :ayatollah:

It's no wonder away crowds are dwindling £150 is far to much to pay for a family away day to footy.

First off I think it's great that your coach is filling up quickly, and well done to Brum/the police for making it a normal KO time. I have to though agree with the earlier post, it's too expensive, this would be a £100 day out for me. I simply haven't got that sort of spare cash to spend on a day out at the football. This probably applies to hundreds/maybe even thousands of people throughout South Wales who would like to go. Sadly, it's no longer a working class sport, and NO I wouldn't think any different if we were in the Premier. Thinking about it, I'll probably never go away again, quite sad really.

It's only a cheapish day out if you travel to away games like this on your own or with your mates.

Paul, you are right. Brum is a short journey by Cardiff City's standards this season and their ground has a good atmosphere; particularly in the away end. £25 not bad by modern standards!

I'll be going and even better I'm up that way on the weekend anyway for other reasons :ayatollah:

How much it costs depends on how you want to do it.

Tickets and bus won't change, that's £45 for an adult, however the rest can be done on the cheap, sandwiches and cans from the back of the cupboard or pop- take it easy with the drink up there and no reason why it can't be done for £60.

Still too much for some and I do understand that, but I don't think this has changed much in the last 10 years and we used to take plenty away then.

I do agree
But the transit van days and mini buses just don't seem to be there anymore
Can remember taking 15 in a mini bus many a time for cost price in the good old days travel was never much more than a fiver each

60/70 quid is expensive to a lot of fans
So I don't know where you get cheap from

I'm looking to take a mini bus up.
Drive it for us and you can come for free

If you get a minibus with a driver it costs as much, if not more than a coach.

The price of £20 from Carl and the Supporters Club is good.
I know how difficult it is to cover coach costs.

I also appreciate its tight for a lot of people with family coming first and many spent out and footballer out from Euro 16.

Just hope as many as possible make the effort in the next few weeks as that extra bit of support is going to be very much needed in the tough league this year.

Also there's always a special moment around the corner and the more of us that get to experience it the better

You only live once

£25 for Adults and £10 for kids, that cheap compared to many many clubs, a fact.
Plus don't forget its not that long ago our fans were paying £45-£55 in the Premier League and £35 for kids and we were selling out. Plus when we were going up they were buying them then.

Lets be honest Steve, Brum away tickets are good value and you know it.
