Bristol Rovers Tickets

Mon Jul 18, 2016 6:27 pm

Hello. I'm looking for 2 tickets or 2 fan numbers please. Never been to the Memorial ground and really fancy it but not willing too buy 2 away memberships just for the one game! Used to go away all the time but haven't been able too lately due too work commitments. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Josh.

Don't think they call them away memberships anymore but you can purchase:-

16/17 - Adult Gold Membership ·

Benefits Include:
Individual Membership Card
Inclusion in the Loyalty Scheme
The ability to purchase tickets for away fixtures (subject to sales criteria)
Membership pricing up to and including match day
Competitions run through Social Media to win free away travel for you and a friend to a selected away league fixture (memberships required for both individuals). :ayatollah:

I know you said you don't wanna buy one but this membership guarantee you more than away games.

The membership scheme is not needed and unjustified given the current level of the clubs support.

To ask someone to pay £20 for the priveledge to buy an away ticket is nothing but a piss take.

Should only be implemented when needed and even then it should be for small fee 10 quid max.

A small example for you on how fucked up our club is.

I wanted to go to Burnley away last season mid-week, think we took about 200 fans, I asked if I could buy an extra ticket for a mate who lives in Manchester and they point blank refused. You would think they dont want the support.

Agreed, waste of time and just prevents people from going or make its hard for them.

Not gonna lie but I never go to away league games anymore. Only friendlies and sometimes cup games. Now just trying too do grounds that I haven't been too yet and Bristol rovers is one of them. Also my missus wants too go and this will be her first away game lol. But not paying £20 each for a membership that's a bit of a con

Are you a season ticket holder? You should be able to buy a ticket if you are!

No mate I'm not. Haven't been for about 4 years now as can never get down to Saturday games due to work. Mid week games are no problem for me but no point buying ST just for mid week games lol.

I hope you get your tickets sorted, but doesn't the membership help when purchasing your home midweek tickets, too?

It's worth stating that the idea of any club's 'membership' is more about security and the monitoring/control of who they are selling their tickets to for any given game than it is to 'profiteer' from fans who don't buy season tickets

If you walk up on the day I guess you dont need a membership for this.

I heard we only have around 1000 tickets so guessing it will be popular at £10 a ticket

I'd be surprised at a walk up for this game, tbh. Lots of interest in a game relatively close to home ;)

Don't see how a membership is a waste, I think with the benefits it has it's worth the money and I got a lot out of it last season.

It's just another way to determine if you are dedicated to City because if a Wembley trip came around or something along those lines you'd be guaranteed some priority.

I do think it's worth it if you go too plenty of away games. But I can't make many if any as I work in a trade so if I take days off I don't get paid and my boss gets funny with me. I wouldn't buy a membership for the possibility of a Wembley trip as that's unfair to the fans who go too every game. I do think away memberships are a security thing however it's not needed anymore as our fans are very well behaved.

Always thought membership is to prioritise ticket allocation for away games especially when there is expected to be over subscribed allocation (rovers) if low uptake of tickets membership as not been required to buy tickets ? :old:
