Trollope will be able to bring in more players on virtually free transfers once more City players have gone out.

The club's only real target is to avoid relegation and recoup as much money as possible until Tan can work away to get rid of the toy he's lost interest in.
Choo and Dalman will spout the same bollocks each year about top 6 finishes but surely even those two and Tan, who's collective football knowledge can be written on the back of a postage stamp with room to spare, realise that a team spending nothing on players and cutting back so drastically can't really be expected to mount a serious challenge for promotion.
All of which is fair enough - cutbacks are still needed and we have to live within our means, but can anyone think of a team that's won promotion from a similar financial position as we find ourselves in?
Choo and Dalman think their "customers" are genuinely stupid enough to believe that the club is investing sufficiently to compete with clubs like Newcastle, Villa and even Leeds.
Unfortunately many of those customers believe what the club wants them to believe.

Wez, I think he realises that the only way he can get rid of the club is to make it debt free and therefore an attractive proposition for a potential buyer. There is no way he could get rid of the club in it's current financial position.
If you think that he's happy to stay, what do you think he'll do when the debt is written off? Will he then start investing in the team again or will he keep running the club as he is currently with free transfers and loan sigings? And if sticks to the free transfers does he really believe that is the way to get back to the Premier League?
The fact that he never comes to games is another indication for me that he's just not interested - having confirmed that he would be writing off the debt would have been the perfect opportunity for him to have another walk around the ground shaking people's hands but he's been nowhere to be seen (bar a couple of away games) for over a season now and there's no indication that he'll be back any time soon.
For me he's lost interest completely and wants out as soon as he can.
