HORNBY-FORBES SNAPPED UP
Brighton & Hove Albion have signed defender Tyler Hornby-Forbes from Fleetwood Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old full-back has agreed a two-year contract.
"We are looking forward helping him to develop so he can challenge for a place in the first team," Brighton under-21 coach Simon Rusk said.

GIROUD OUT, HIGUAIN IN?
Arsenal are willing to pay €60m plus Olivier Giroud to Napoli in order to sign Gonzalo Higuaín, according to Italian paper La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Higuain's agent has revealed the Argentine striker won't be renewing his Napoli contract, which expires in two years’ time, but Napoli president wants €94m for their most prized asset.

Two Chinese Super League clubs and one Abu Dhabi Club have made offers for Hal Robson-Kanu, according to Sky sources.
We understand that the Chinese clubs, Beijing Guoan and Jiangsu Sunning, are willing to pay in the region of £5 million salary per year for the former Reading striker.
Al Jazira Club of Abu Dhabi are also understood to be interested.
Despite the lucrative offers from abroad, we understand Robson-Kanu is keen to play in the Premier League and his representatives will continue discussions in the next week with Watford, Hull and Swansea City.

Newcastle United have been linked with a move for Peter Crouch, according to the Daily Mirror.

POWELL DEAL CONFIRMED
Nick Powell has rejoined Wigan Athletic after his contract at Manchester United expired at the end of last month.
Powell passed a medical on Tuesday and has signed a three-year-contract at the club, for whom he scored 12 goals while on loan in the 2013-14 season.
The 22-year-old has joined the squad as they continue their pre-season training and manager Gary Caldwell is delighted with the acquisition.

CHELSEA READY €40M JOAO MARIO BID
Chelsea are preparing a €40m offer for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Mario, according to reports in O Jogo.
The story is currently sitting at No 2 in this morning's Football Whispers index and the Portuguese sports daily says it was the player's eye-catching displays for Portugal in their victorious Euro 2016 campaign that have persuaded the Blues to make a move for the 23-year-old.

CITY TOLD TO PAY €20M FOR BRAVO
Barcelona want a fee of at least €20m if Man City firm up their interest in goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, reports Marca.
New City boss Pep Guardiola has been linked with moves for both Barcelona goalkeepers, Bravo and Marc-Andre ter Stegen, over the past few months as he prepares for his first season in charge at the Etihad.
Barca do not plan on cashing in on the Chilean or the German, with the club’s sporting director Robert Fernandez recently stating that “the two are going to continue [at Barca]”.
However, according to Marca, Barca could contemplate selling Chile international Bravo if City offer at least €20m for his services.

GIROUD OPEN TO NAPOLI MOVE
Olivier Giroud would consider joining Napoli if Arsenal wanted to offload the striker this summer, according to the player's agent.
The Frenchman has been linked with a possible swap deal involving the Serie A club's forward Gonzalo Higuain in recent days.
"If he was asked to leave, then we would evaluate options," Michael Manuello told Radio CRC.
"There is no fear from Olivier about possibly going to Napoli. It is a magnificent city. In Campania, my client could lead a wonderful life.
"Not to mention that the type of game played by [Napoli boss Maurizio] Sarri could enhance the quality of a centre forward like him."

The Foxes' second offer was for around £11m and we're being told the player wants to move to the King Power this summer.

ARSENAL KEEN ON HIGUAIN
Arsenal are interested in signing Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli, according to Sky sources.
Sky in Italy has reported that no offer has been forthcoming from the Gunners, but say "intermediaries" have been in contact with the Argentina striker's brother who acts as his agent.
Higuain - top scorer in Serie A last season with 36 goals - would cost Arsenal a club record fee. That has led to speculation in Italy that Giroud may be used as part of a player-plus-cash deal.
