BIG SAM FRUSTRATED

Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce says he is losing patience with the current transfer market, as his side reach mid-July without a single new signing.

The 61-year-old, whose team narrowly avoided relegation last season, says prices have rocketed out of control, making it increasingly difficult for the Black Cats to find the right value for money.

"We need two, three or four players as quickly as we possibly can. It's been a huge demand on all our resources trying to find those players and we will continue to until we're successful.”

The Hammers have activated the £26m release clause in the forward's current contract at AC Milan and will now hope to persuade him to join the club.

If terms can be agreed, Bacca would become Slaven Bilic's sixth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Gokhan Tore, Sofiane Feghouli, Toni Martinez, Havard Nordtveit and Domingos Quina.

Scott Malone In Fulham Medical?

Tuesday 12th July 2016

Vital Cardiff

It's being reported that Cardiff City left back Scott Malone is undergoing a medical ahead of a move to Fulham.

Wales Online report the story and say that the 25 year old, who has made 56 appearances for Cardiff with one goal returned following his arrival from Millwall, is undergoing a medical at the moment ahead of an impending move.

There are no suggestions of a fee but apparently a deal has been struck between both clubs, and the outlet suggest that with Malone presumably moving on, it could see a proper return from 21 year old Declan John given the current Welsh feeling after the team's exploits at the European Championships.

Of course with Paul Trollope's involvement there, nurturing John through the first team properly could be a long term plan on a few levels.

NEWCASTLE WANT £35M FOR SISSOKO

Newcastle have told other clubs they will have to pay £35m if they want to sign France star Moussa Sissoko, SSN HQ understands.

The 26-year-old, who joined Newcastle from Toulouse for an undisclosed fee in January 2013, was superb for France as they reached the Euro 2016 final, where they lost to Portugal on Sunday.

Sissoko has already declared he wants to leave Tyneside, telling French website Foot Mercato in June that he wanted to join a team in the Champions League and described Arsenal as a "beautiful" club.

DERBY REJECT HENDRICK BID

Derby County have turned down a bid of £3m from Burnley for midfielder Jeff Hendrick, Sky sources understand.

Hendrick, who impressed for the Republic of Ireland at the Euros, starting all four games in France, still has two years left on his Derby contract.

It's thought Nigel Pearson is keen to keep the 24-year-old, and the club feel Burnley's offer hugely underestimates his market value.

HULL SET FOR ROBSON-KANU TALKS

12/07/16

Hull manager Steve Bruce has revealed the club want to sign Hal Robson-Kanu and are "booked in for talks" with the Wales forward in the next few days.

Sky sources understand Leicester are among a number of other Premier League clubs interested in signing Robson-Kanu.

The 27-year-old is a free agent this summer after leaving Reading and he starred as Wales reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016, where they were beaten by eventual winners Portugal.

Bruce told the BBC: "We are booked in for talks with him and to see him in the next few days.

"Do we intend to offer him a deal? Yes. I think Hal is a good age, has had a sort of rebirth if you like, of playing through the middle, because before that he has played wide most of the time.

"He is big, strong, powerful, quick and somebody who runs the other way, in football terms. I know we have got competition, so let's see what we can do."

REAL EYE CHELSEA TARGET

Real Madrid will make a decision about their interest in Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes over the next few days, reports Marca.

Gomes, 22, has emerged as Madrid’s first-choice option to bolster their midfield options ahead of the start of the new season.
Madrid and Valencia have not yet started negotiations, but the European champions are optimistic because they know the player would be open to a move to the Bernabeu. In addition, Madrid reportedly believe Gomes could play alongside and complement Paul Pogba, who is another player on their shortlist.

Valencia have officially stated that Gomes is not for sale, but Marca reports that they are resigned to securing the best price possible for him as they aware it will be difficult to keep hold of him. In addition, Valencia are in a delicate financial situation and they would look for a fee of around €65m for the Portugal international.

Juventus, who had a €40m offer for Gomes rejected a few weeks ago, are also interested in the midfielder, as are both PSG and Barcelona, while we recently broke the story that Chelsea have had a bid for the player rejected by Los Che.

SISSOKO NOT WORRIED BY £35M PRICE TAG

Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko says he is unconcerned by the £35m price tag placed on his head by the Magpies.

"The interested clubs will know how to find common ground. I hope that it will be as early as possible."

NEWCASTLE MUST BE 'REASONABLE' OVER SISSOKO

Some more now on the future of Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko, whose agent has criticised the Magpies' £35m asking price for his client.

"We do not understand," he told French publication Foot Mercato. "It was agreed that Moussa stayed one more season at Newcastle to help the team.

"He did the best he could. The club has always said Moussa could leave for between €18m and €25m maximum. We hope that Rafael Benitez and the president will be more reasonable about Moussa's future.

"He has always been loyal, he has always respected the club, the fans. There are clubs who came to us and the club [Newcastle]. We are fully aware of their approaches. "We want everything to go well."

LUCAS WANTS TO STAY AT PSG

PSG forward Lucas Moura says he is "happy" with life at the Parc des Princes.

The Brazil international has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in recent weeks, but the player claims he wants to stay in the French capital next season.

"I am happy here," he told Foot Mercato during the Ligue 1 champions' pre-season tour of Austria.

"I like Paris. I like the club. I like everything. I have always said that I want to stay. I want to write my history here. But that depends on the club also. If the club want to keep me, I stay."
