He still is Annis. Jazz Richards can cover right back. He has played that for Wales. I know he is a Jack but think he would do well for us playing the right style of play.

Does anyone think that we can have Richards, a much better player than Malone, every time I have seen him play he has been very good, I would love to have him here but I don't think it will happen, pleased for me to be wrong

Think he was at Chesterfield but I take your point. I still think he has the qualities needed to be a super wing back. I would love city to adopt the Wales style. We need a playing style identity and with time this could be us. With fabip as another wing back and our 2 quality championship centre backs we would do well I think

He played those games and we finished bottom he's just not up to it now if we have jazz richards and fabio as wing backs that would be much better

Would be happy if we signed him, always looked good for Wales. Maybe Dec John could be pushed further forward to the wing or both play either side wing backs.

Will be gutted to see Malone go, on a good day he stands out from the whole team.

was at Cardiff before Swansea

I mentioned him before as a possible signing and was talking about him with a Jack in France. He's done very well for Wales, but he didn't really fulfil his potential at Swansea - saying that in fairness they've had some very good full backs to choose from.

Hasn't worked out for him at Fulham, but I think he's worth a chance here.

Started his youth career with us before he joined swansea youth in 2009!

Rubbish, he's a poor defender that ducks out of tackles. Technically he's not a bad footballer and can put in a decent final ball, but his problem is he too often makes the wrong decision and likes to think he's a Brazilian international.

I'd love to see him leave.

For a few years.

As I have said on other threads he is not just a left back and plays in multiple positions so I don't think he would necessarily be in front of Declan John for a place. Actually I think he'd probably be competing with Peltier rather than Fabio/John.

The only fullback we've got who is a good defender is Peltier, who is limited going forward. Fabio, John and Malone are all flawed.

Jazz Richards would be welcomed at the CCS by me, as were others who proved to be great Cardiff City stalwarts, e.g. Legg, Curtis, Stevenson (a real blast from the past), etc.

I think most Cardiff fans have 'issues' with certain individual current and ex-Jack players rather than the whole (Trundle, Monk and Shelvey immediately spring to mind)

It's just my personal opinion but Jazz Richards would be a better option than Declan John, who despite 23 Premier League appearances for us never really impressed overall; far too many attacks were turned into manic defence when he routinely gave the ball away to some pretty good counter-attacking opposition
