Is that Pinewood Studios? I heard they're auditioning for the remake of Steptoe and Son?

All humour aside, this is so sad for a man who gave so many (not just the English) so much pleasure

Many say that he brought this on himself, but I see it differently and hope his so-called 'friends' are hanging their heads in shame that they allowed this to happen over so many years, including some whilst he was still playing!

I had the privilege of meeting Gazza and his (then estranged) family in Florida just before he joined Everton (if I remember correctly) and he had just been to one of the clinics

A really nice man with a great sense of humour and willing to stop to chat

I hope he beats his 'issues' but it's not looking good

Why they feel they need to take pictures of him looking like that is beyond me, its not in the public interest in the slightest to see him looking like that, the pricks will do anything for a couple of quid and a story, scum.

AGONY OF SICK GAZZA Paul Gascoigne new low as he exposes himself in the street on the hunt for more booze
The footie idols was seen stumbling in a dressing gown to buy gin and fags before accidentally flashing passers-by

THERE were new fears for Paul Gascoigne last night after he accidentally exposed himself in the street.

The football icon — heading to buy booze in only a dressing gown — stumbled barefooted from his flat with a bent cigarette hanging from his lips.

A seriously sick and dishevelled Gazza exposed himself while exiting a cab
Slurring his words, Gazza, 49, climbed into a taxi before returning with a bottle of gin, cigs and painkillers.

As he stepped out of the cab his gown fell open revealing he was naked underneath.

Gazza returned from his trip with bottle of gin, cigs and painkillers
An onlooker said: “He stood there in the middle of the street where all the neighbours could see him.

On lookers expressed concern for Gascoigne who struggled from the car

On lookers expressed concern for Gascoigne who struggled from the car to buy more booze
“It was a sad final public indignity for Gazza. We are all worried for him.”

The ex-England, Newcastle and Spurs star had to ring neighbours’ bells to gain entry to his beachside flat as he had forgotten his key.

The pictures came after week from hell for the footie legend, with police and an ambulance visiting his home
Last Wednesday he was helped into an ambulance in bare feet with a cut head. He was checked over before deciding he wanted to go in for treatment.

But he changed his mind after being driven off by cops and asked to be taken back home.

The football legend’s fall from grace has been heartbreaking for his fans to watch

Gazza dropped a wad of cash as he got out of the van and an officer had to pick it up for him. Cops and an ambulance were called to his flat in Poole, Dorset, again on Thursday afternoon.

Two officers spent three hours inside and medics were also called.

Then on Friday a police van, cop car and an ambulance were called over further concerns for Gazza’s welfare.

It's the same thing every few weeks pictures of him pissed up or something else. It's boring imo leave him to it as much as a good player he was he's going to drink himself to death as he's gone past helping himself. Sad but that's what will happen.

Jesus Christ ! Once a footballer everyone new by name and the young looked up to.

I think I'll say it first

R.I.P Gazza a true inspiration on the field but what a complete idiot off the field

What a state. Sorry I don't feel sorry for him, everyone has choices and this is his choice. And I don't agree with those saying he is ill. There are those out there are genuinely ill. There are those that haven't got any options of getting better but Gazza has. Weak man and a very very selfish man. His family and kids I feel for.

Those pictures are shocking. He looks such a frail man. What a fall from grace. When you compare how he looks physically to his team mates from Euro 96 - shearer, sheringham, redknapp etc it shows just how far he has fallen. Absolute rock bottom. Really upsetting to see, and unfortunately I think we are going to wake up one morning to the worst possible news.

You hear all of this talk about its harder for some than for others but surely it boils down to one thing "WILL", you have got to want to do it! I believe that your will is affected by several things though, like your mental health, personal happiness, what goals you have when you come off it, etc.

Perhaps im being ignorant as they say some people are alcohol dependant and some are alcoholics. Some can have a heavy habit and go on and off it and some cant even have alcoholic mouthwash or they will be back to 2 bottles of scotch a day.

Maybe it is a lot more complicated than it looks or perhaps some people just dont have the willpower. Even if you do have to stay off it 100% then that must come down to willpower and people do it all of the time.

Its hard and perhaps unfair of me to judge people but I think its fairly safe to say that Gazza is in a black hole and it doesent look like he has the strength to climb out of it. Perhaps people around him have put their foot on his head to force him into it!

Lets hope he proves many wrong but I have seen what happens when people sink this low and its a long way back up! :(

And of course the sun are happy to exploit him

I never used to have sympathy for drink and drug addicts but ive come to realise its a massive problem ,its easy for others to judge and say you need will power etc but everyone is different personality wise.
What a great player he was, unfortunately will end up like Georgie Best

What do you expect from the Sun? They call themselves journalists but they barely float above paedophiles in the gene pool. Murdoch is a filthy maggot and there is a special place in hell for the digger. As for PG's "mates" they will all be there waxing lyrical when he passes tripping over to get at reporters to announce Gascoigne's genius and that he was a great bloke.Where are they now ?????

yeah, he's going to drink himself to an early death. no amount of wake up calls or therapy seem to help this man.

Because it is news. Like it or not it's news. When you are famous like that then obviously with that adulation comes the downside if you get into the state he is in. What gets me still to many people willing to get him the booze or shops still selling it to him.

In all fairness you can't babysit a fully grown man, there's only so much u can do without babysitting someone 24/7 and physically stopping them from abusing themselves. Im sure there's plenty of people that have put alot into helping gazza.
