Welsh flag on kit

Sat Jul 09, 2016 11:43 am

We used to for years have a Welsh flag on all city kits .
If we want to tap into the Welsh feel good factor put the Welsh badge back on the kits should never of been removed .we are the capital city of Wales we should have lots of Welsh stuff about are stadium inside and out the Welsh team play here to.
We need to try everything to get the fans in and why not this.

Totally agree. As Cardiff is the capital of Wales our national flag should be on our shirts and now more than ever before. Hope this can be reintroduced. Teza

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling there is some FA rule that means we are no longer allowed national flags on our kits.

I would want to see the dragon back, but I'm sure there was a reason it was dropped.

This gets brought up now and then.

Its true, a new fa law (or maybe fifa) came in a few years back that forbids country flags being put onto domestic kits. Hence the reason we stopped.

It could have been worse. There was talk of all clubs having their flag on their kits.

This would have meant us having a St George's Cross on our kit as we a re in the English system.

It's simple just have a Welsh dragon on badge.... oh.

What about a green, white and red kit.

Oh shit, what have I done?

White top to a shirt blending into a red bottom with red shorts that blend into a green trim and green socks.

It would look like a flag. ;)
