Well done Wales, we missed Ramsey tonight more than I thought we would.
Great effort in this tournament though. Our team and fans were nothing short of fantastic.
Onto the World Cup now, let's get to Russia.

Sorry but we did not play well tonight we seemed to buckle under the occasion as if it was great that we got this far.Portugal were there for the taking if we had more confidence and went for it more.

I disagree, if we went for it more they would have ripped us apart as they showed when we pushed forward at the end. We missed key players tonight. Portugal sat deep, defended tight, compacted the midfield - and due to Rambo being out, we simply dont have the quality to unlock a team like Portugal. Our fans must remember that for large parts of games we rely on MK Dons, Burnley and Reading players to make large contributions to winning us games. Superb tournament and we cannot have the arrogance to think we should be beating Portugal.

Behave. Wales have done magnificently well to get this far. Yes they have played some weaker teams in this tournament but with the resources they have its a huge achievement. Ramsey was a massive loss tonight. Portugal were the better team and deserved to go through, can't fault the effort or performance.

Yeah the same pundits that were talking about England playing France before they even played Iceland.
There is no way anybody can say Portugal "were there for the taking" for a team like us. Do you honestly think our team that is jam packed with Reading, Burnley, Swansea, Palace, MK Dons, Wolves and Shrewsbury players really would think Portugal (undefeated in the last 12 games) led by the worlds best player - were there for the taking?!
I hope more people dont fall into the same arrogant trap that we so have so proudly shown we are above thus far, that makes England the ridiculous laughing stock they are.

I think we missed Ramsey and Davies a lot, more than I thought we would, no one really performed tonight, but got to look forward to World Cup qualifiers and maybe if we can get numbers move back to millennium!

To give you a reality check, we lose Ramsey and in a semi bring on church, says it all. We punched well above our weight and they are heroes

The nation can be proud of its team and amazing fans. For me its an achievement that is not an outlier but one of something that is being built upon. No ego's, just pure team spirit. 'Together Stronger' is what The Team, Coleman, The Fans and Speedo have delivered. For me today, we missed Rambo - how couldn't you? But we have made major strides in the nations football achievements and ambitions and this tournament will had provided the stage for Welsh Football to kick on.

Wales can look back on the tournament with pride and no regrets
This was the death of a dream, but not a reason to wallow or curse at the thought of what might have been. Wales have been a breath of fresh air at this championship, a side back at a major finals for the first time since 1958 having excelled on the pitch while their magnificent support chorused them gloriously from the stands. They missed the banned Aaron Ramsey’s composure and creation here but, even so, it took a phenomenon in Cristiano Ronaldo to break them. Gareth Bale and Ramsey have played their stellar roles but there have been outstanding performers throughout the squad: from James Chester at the back, through the bearded Joe Ledley in midfield – it is staggering to consider he broke his leg in early May – and the clubless but tireless Hal Robson-Kanu up front. “We can’t come off with any regrets,” said Chris Coleman before kick-off. Even in defeat, they should return home with none.

This is just the start of the dream... Not the end.

My one complaint is that in the first half we were far too cautious against a not great Portuguese side.
Other than that, we've had a fantastic tournament and done far better than i could ever have expected.
Cheers Wales.

......and I'm also looking forward what an 'un-blinkered' Paul Trollope & staff are going to deliver at City. On balance, methinks a good one perhaps chaps.......

Gunter, Ramsey, Ledley, Collins
What we could be if we weren't constantly a selling team.

No. On what we've seen we'll get defence first, unentertaining football, and hopefully get the odd win or two with some occasional counterattack goals.
