Totally agree mate. If Liverpool paid £15,000,000 for him they should try get that back or more. Been very good for Wales and worth about £20,000,000 in my opinion.

I would've agreed with £20m-£22m as a valuation for him coming off the back of this tournament, but given that there are some distinctly average midfielders coming into the Premier League this summer for £30m or so, Allen should be at a similar amount in my opinion. Seems silly money, mind you.

Goes to show just how little Liverpool think of him though, if they are willing to take a loss on him. I thought he was great for them in the second half of last season, and just don't see why they want to move him on.

I still don't believe everything you read.. Klopp seemed to really fancy him at the tail end of last season and if he hasn't been impressed with him so far then maybe he isn't the manager everyone thinks he is.. even my mrs commented the other night saying that one with the long hair not bale is quite good isn't he.. lol.. apparently she is to be offered a place on the Cardiff City Transfer Committee :laughing5: :laughing5: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Unfortunately I can see Klopp being out of a job by Christmas and a certain Chris Coleman taking over....

He is in the last year of his contract thats why. I think £14m is too much considering that and dont think anybody will bid that amount.

I think a mid table Prem side is his only option surely? It won't be a backwards step as you said because he currently isn't a first team regular at a top 6 side is he, so joining Swansea or someone similar is the natural next step. He can't expect someone like Chelsea or Man City to come in for him and be a starter now can he, and I am sure he doesn't. Lets be real here.

I was quite specific about where I got the £30m figure from ;)

Sevilla FC is the move I think that will make him. A move to a mid-ranked Prem team is not a progressive move, just hope his success doesn't price him out of a move he has been linked before with.
