ICYMI: PALACE BID FOR BENTEKE
Crystal Palace have made a £25m bid for Liverpool forward Christian Benteke.
Liverpool value the Belgium forward at £30m and, at present, are unwilling to lower their valuation.
Earlier on Friday, Sky sources revealed Palace had turned their attentions to Benteke after failing in their bid to sign Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.

LINDEGAARD SIGNS FOR PRESTON
Goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has signed a one-year deal with Preston North End after leaving West Brom on Friday.
Albion cancelled the remaining 12 months on Lindegaard's contract by mutual consent.
The Lilywhites manager Simon Grayson said: "I think it's a real good signing for us. We've worked hard behind the scenes to make this happen and I'm grateful to West Brom for helping us do that."

Everton and Napoli are fighting to sign Belgium midfielder Axel Witsel from Zenit St Petersburg, according to the player’s father.
Thierry Witsel has told Italian radio station CRC: "It's true I met with (Napoli sporting director) Cristiano Giuntoli in Brussels. It was a positive discussion and there could be interest by both parties, so we'll see how things evolve.
"Everton's interest is concrete, like Napoli's, so the negotiation is ongoing, and to see if the marriage happens we have to see the conditions and understand what is the best destination for the player.
"Napoli is a great club. They had Maradona amongst their protagonists so they don't need to be praised.
"(Dries) Mertens spoke very highly of Napoli with Axel. He knows that going to Napoli would mean joining a big club and making a step forward in his career."

Nani said: "Renato would have been a great signing for Man United. I have no doubts. But he had a choice - and the choice he made was Bayern Munich.
"I hope he has made a good choice and that he is happy in his career, but I think United will now know what a big player they have missed.
"Renato is a very confident player. He is very young, but he already has a great personality for the game. He isn't scared to play in the big games and he isn't scared to show his qualities against any opponent.
"It is good to see another young player want to be a star and to achieve his dreams. You must be like that. You can't be afraid of anything - and he isn't."

ADAN PLAYS DOWN LIVERPOOL TALK
Real Betis goalkeeper Antonio Adan has played down reports linking him with a move to Liverpool.
“Liverpool? I’ve only recently signed a new contract and I did that because I feel important here with Betis, therefore it’s something I’m not really thinking about,” Adan told AS.
“The Premier League has always been a league I liked and maybe in the future [I will play there], but right now I’m not looking at the future or in the long-term.”

TOMKINS CLOSES ON PALACE MOVE
Sky sources understand that James Tomkins has not travelled with the rest of the West Ham squad for their pre-season tour of America ahead of a proposed move to Crystal Palace.
A fee between the clubs is yet to be agreed.
Palace value Tomkins at around £6m, but West Ham are hoping to secure close to £12m for the defender.
Tomkins, who came through the youth ranks at West Ham, made 32 appearances last season for Slaven Bilic's side.
