Cardiff City have announced the signing of striker Frédéric Gounongbe from Belgian side KVC Westerlo on a two-year deal.
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=174617The Benin-international joins the Bluebirds after spending two years with Westerlo and scoring 22 goals in 45 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League.
Gounongbe had previous spells with fellow Belgian clubs Woluwe-Zaventem and RWDM Brussels, making his international debut in 2014.
The 28-year-old centre forward becomes Cardiff’s second signing of the summer, joining Lex Immers, who has moved from a loan deal to a permanent one. He will wear the number nine jersey for the 2016-17 campaign.
