TROLLOPE SIGN HIM UP!

Sat Jun 25, 2016 6:05 pm

Surely Trollope must be having a word with Jonny Williams in training trying to get him to come to Cardiff, the kid just oozes class, Ever since he came into the Welsh set up I wanted him at City but now must be the time with Trollope seeing him in training every day!

I was thinking that watching the game today, he definitely made a difference when he came on

Whilst playing for Ipswich in the same system as the Welsh system the midfield hard man that is (sir) Perter Whittingham out muscled him and scored a pearler.....

Not sure he is suited to the championship

I think williams should be starting next match, straight swap for ledley who had a poor game today i thought. Is ledley 100 per cent fit? If not shouldnt be starting. Williams brought a spark to wales today.

I was impressed with him when I saw him play for the MK Dons down here last season and I would take a punt on him but there doesn't seem to be any noises coming from the city at the moment.

He has played really well. Never looks like scoring though....a bit like Tommy Lawrence in that respect.

yes, sign a player based upon half an hour of football, what could possibly go wrong? i mean, lets ignore the full season of games he has had

Fair play to the lad he's had a decent Euros but every time I'v seen him play against the City he's been average at best.

We need someone yo score goals and that's not Jonny Williams.

Or Hal Robson Kanu for that matter!

here are some statistics for you on kanu:

3 in 28 this season for reading (less than one in nine)
33 in 240 career league games (less than one in seven)

but you nevertheless claim he is wales' answer to michael owen based upon 2 strikes at a tournament. i'd suggest you get your coat, sunshine.

same goes for johnny williams. judge him on hundreds of league games or 4 tournament games? i know what the smart clubs buying the players will be looking at.

I think managers across the world have said not to sign players on euro performances.

Kanu does a great job for Wales, perfect for how we plan. Would city play like that in the championship? No

Trollope???? It's someone at Vinny's Belgium club, who seems to be signing our players. I would be utterly shocked though, with Trollope being around the welsh camp, that he doesn't sign at least one welsh international for us.

Looks like our transfers are made by a foreign club god knows who's actually scouting these players

While the people vote to leave Brussels, Cardiff decide to keep close ties with Belgium :laughing6:

I jokingly commented on davids post.I'm well aware of those stats as comments on other post will bare me out.If you can show me exactley where I've likened Robson-Kanu or Williams to Michael Owen I'll buy you beer all next season.
Lighten up dipshit.

Can you read or no? I've followed him since he came into the Welsh set up he has pure class, and is something Cardiff need.

I've always thought he's made a positive impact when he's played for Wales. Seen him play on the wing a couple of time, Loves running it forward something noone doesn't doesn't seem to do these days.
