' FAO ALL THE WELSH FANS TODAY '

By Vince Alm

Today is a big day for welsh football let's get behind the team and support to victory like we have done in all three games previously. Well done to all the fans who have been a credit to the country.

Just got back from the UEFA security meeting for the game;

We have been allocated the North West corner of the stadium Blocks 107-112 and 311 312, 412; The metro station for this side of the ground is on Line 10 Porte d'auteuil and there are plenty of bars in this area.

The security at this stadium is stricter than any we have been to so get there early, and be patient going through the search areas.

SUPPORTER INFORMATION - WALES V NORTHERN IRELAND

Paris is set to welcome the incredible support of Wales and Northern Ireland as the teams meet in the Round of 16 at EURO 2016.

A party atmosphere is expected in Paris with Welsh fans having received an official welcome from the city.

WALES V NORTHERN IRELAND
UEFA EURO 2016 - Round of 16

Parc des Princes - Paris
Saturday, 25 June, KO 17:00 BST
Live coverage: BBC TV & Radio, S4C

The Wales supporters have been exemplary at EURO 2016 winning many plaudits from the cities of Bordeaux, Lens and Toulouse. Now, with Paris all set to be awash with the red and green of both countries, the Football Association of Wales would like to highlight the security measures that are in place at Parc des Princes, which will host the Round of 16 match between the home nations.

There will be a stricter search process in place at the turnstiles in comparison to what fans may have experienced at the group matches. The FAW therefore highly recommends that you arrive at Parc des Princes as early as possible with gates opening three hours before the 18:00 CET kick off.

Bag checks will also be in place at the relevant search points and it is also important to be aware that random checks in other areas are also likely to be carried out.

Welsh fans therefore, should go to their seats as early as possible, which is something that the majority of fans have done during the group stage of the tournament to show their support for Chris Coleman and the players from the moment they enter the pitch for the pre-match warm-up.

It is recommended that fans using the metro disembark at Porte d’Auteuil station for the easiest access to the turnstiles at the Wales end of the stadium.

As with every match, the FAW’s Security Team will be utilising its strong relationship with FSF Cymru, liaising with them to relay information directly to the Welsh supporters in Paris.
