I am not racist and not against immigrants. It may well be that many on here urging us to leave are probably English born City supporters (immigrants). So I can understand their view.
BUT I am a proud Welshman not a little Englader and therefore hugely disappointed. Sorry if that offends some on the forum.

If Scotland want to go and join the euro and see themselves bankrupted like Greece, let them carry on. The EU is a failing state. The sooner it disbands the better.

With the Scots leaving it is time for Wales to start asserting ourselves like never before.

Repatriating powers to a ring-wing Tory government will only do harm to Welsh communities.

The power that comes back from Brussels must bypass the Westminster and go straight to the people of Wales.

If this does not happen, we are so truly fucked.

I am pleased Cardiff voted to remain but disappointed with the overall outcome. I personally believe it will be a decision we will come to regret.

However, now that we are out perhaps it's time to start thinking more thoughtfully about our own independence and joining the EU as a country. Surely any proud Welshman or person living and working in Wales would want that now we forgone the benefits of Wales as a part of the UK being in the EU?

This non existent democracy in the EU malarkey is a myth. We directly vote for MEPs just noone is interested.

All we needed to do is set up a similar system to the USA where directly elected representatives are voted state by state and we could have voted in the President, The Commissioner and all the bigwigs. Britain would have got one of the biggest shares of the vote too as our population is only smaller than Germany's.
