Whats Joe Allen worth?
SWANSEA KNOCKED BACK
Friday 24th June 2016
Liverpool have rejected an £8m bid for Joe Allen from his former club Swansea City, according to reports.
The Liverpool Echo write that the Reds have knocked back their Premier League rivals a week ago, and Swansea have not returned with a further bid.
Liverpool are said to expect further bids for the midfielder, after his impressive performances for Wales at the European Championship.

Cant blame them for that cheeky bid, the longer we stay in tournament his value will shoot - the man just does not give the ball away

Notwithstanding that he's a Jack I think they could probably get double that. The bar seems to be raised every summer as far as transfer fees are concerned.

He doesn't play for Swansea. He plays for Liverpool.

He's in the last year of his contract

But he's British and that will inflate his worth even more now - Liverpool will probably looking to at least get the £15 million back they paid, but I suspect he won't be for sale. He's been the player of the tournament for me so far.

There's no way klopp can sell him after his performances so far

Him and Klop have a serious dislike for eachother, so I can see him going this summer, but not for £8 million what are Swansea thinking?

Liverpool should give him a new contract asap. He's popular with the fans up there too.

I thought his contract is up on july 1st. no idea why Swansea would bid for that, when Liverpool haven't bothered with a new deal, let it run out

Agree with that mate, but he didn't get a great deal of help from Ramsey or the defence who kept losing the ball and putting us under pressure meaning we were on the back foot for long periods, especially in the first half.
