" UNITED KINGDOM VOTES TO LEAVE THE EUROPEAN UNION "

Wed Jun 22, 2016 11:03 pm

BREAKING NEWS: United Kingdom has voted to leave the European Union.

Today is the day that Britain will decide whether to remain or leave the EU, after months of debates and opinions up and down the country.

The choice is simple: In or Out?

David Cameron, Jeremy Corbyn, Sadiq Khan, George Osborne and Tim Farron are amongst those who have backed the remain vote.

Boris Johnson, Michael Gove, Nigel Farage, John Whittingdale and Gisela Stuart are some of the key people involved in the Leave campaign.

Opinion polls suggest the vote will be very close, and really could go either way.

Polls close at 10pm tonight and in the hours after that, we will know whether Britain will remain in or leave the European Union.

The campaigners have done they bit now. Both pretty poorly in my view. Now it's down to the great british public to democratically vote. I hope everyone on both sides respects the result of the vote and we continue to be a thriving country either way.

I shall vote remain. But respect people reason for leaving. We very lucky to have such a democratic country. Good luck to both sides. :-)

The Euro experiment has been a complete disaster, shengan is a disaster, yet remainiacs want to stay in. I despair how many have fallen for the " we're all doomed if we leave" rhetoric of Cameron and Osburne, talk of tariffs and restrictions on our ability to trade are absolute nonsense. We import more from the EU than we export, in fact we (the UK) are the single largest market for the EU goods and services. It is in the EUs interest to get new trade deals and n place as quickly as possible, BMW are not going to stop selling cars here.

100% VOTE LEAVE - No to more control by EU and Yes to Taking back our own Parliament's / assembly's sovereign control.

Hope everybody who can vote does vote and those that do not Vote - YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO MOAN ABOUT IT AFTERWARDS.

Hope both sides respect the result without any arguments afterwards.

I voted to remain. Mainly because I'm afraid that Wales will lose out on millions of pounds of EU grants and that a right wing Tory government will not be inclined to replace them with Brexit savings. Instead, they would rather offer the rich people of SE England tax breaks with Brexit savings.

I watched the last debate last night and 83yo Shelia Hancock absolutely blew the brexit brigade away.I find it quite remarkable that most of the lads on here are quick to strut their support for british soldiers and yet seemingly pay no heed to the ultimate sacrifice to our dads and grandads who as soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country safe and who's generation made sure that europeans would never slaughter each other again.

I would however acknowledge those who are voting to leave through their own conviction and have stuck to their guns, unlike Boris Johnstone who's only reason to vote to leave is to further his own career. He actually had 2 speeches written, one to leave and one 2 stay in before deciding which way to go.Christ if you'vve been convinced by him you are suckers.

I will answer you this, THE UK SHOULD DECIDE ITS OWN FUTURE/RULES/POLICIES / NOT GERMANY/FRANCE etc etc DECIDING FOR US.
Countries should decide their own futures Not others decide for us.

Proud to be voting remain. I can't stand the politicians on either side but a country possibly governed by Johnson, Farrage, Gove is a very scary thought indeed.

Well I know my father R.I.P. and many others did'nt fight against the Germans, the Japanese and then in his case against the North Koreans to eventually handover control of our country to 27 European countries who run a pathetic, disorganized gravy train for the likes of the Kinnock family. Plus dont forget that the most prominent country in Europe - Germany was responsible for slaughtering not only millions of Europeans in two wars but millions of Russians and many other nationalities throughout the world. Myself and many others have not needed to be convinced to vote leave by Boris Johnston, we have a mind of our own and I suggest it is you who are the sucker to believe all the project fear propaganda given out by Cameron and his "fat cat" colleagues including Wall Street Bankers, the City of London Bankers, George "Billionaire" Soros, and David "rolling in it" Beckham to name but a few.
