Please city slicker could you explain why the EU referendum has anything to do with this incident ? Is the EU referendum anything to do with racism or is it just what the "remain" side and others want people to believe ?
What has the ability to control our borders (EU and other nations people we need in UK), to do with racism?

I think it had everything to do with the referendum and the incident last week. In ordinary circumstances with a European Championship on, everyone would have understood the context of the flag and nothing would have occurred. Don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning anything and I'm certainly not trying to make any political point over this. I'm just trying to illustrate how, sadly, misunderstandings can occur.

Evening City Slicker, seems as though we will probably agree to disagree on the way you phrase your point:-
(Red)-"I'm certainly not trying to make any political point over this." - Although you admit in previous posts that you are firmly on the REMAIN side and (Green) -"I think it had everything to do with the referendum and the incident last week." inferring to the vile murder of an MP last week.
Can you not see that the way you word it again would lead most readers of your post to conclude that the murder of Jo Cox MP was motivated by the EU referendum, which you seem to link to the remain side's belief that a vote Leave and take back control of our own borders from EU freedom of movement, is somehow a racist argument. This murder was more than likely (and know one knows for sure until the facts come out), a crazed psychopathic idiot who listened to some twisted Far right ideology and the voices in his head told him he was somehow going to save mankind by murdering someone standing up for what they believe in, weather agree or disagree with her.
However, I firmly believe you are right with your last quote (yellow) - " Someone should have told the guy his car would have looked better with a Welsh flag anyway"
anyway, work tomorrow so I'm off to bed now - Come on the boy's - Cymru am byth

It's getting to the point where you can't parade your own nations flag in case it offends any foreigners, a sad state of affairs indeed.

Yet somehow this is different?
Race laws in this country are simply not fit for purpose as they only target one race (white) and one nationality (English). If you are black and non-English then it is almost impossible to be convicted (or even accused) of racially motivated hate crimes against white or English people.

It is very hard to find a balance and often the law and peoples opinions overcompensate for a situation.Im sure there are many that want out of the EU because they are mindless racists but im sure there are also many who think it is simply whats best for the country.
Having so many people coming into the UK without some sort of decent vetting system cant be a good thing for us. There are equally mindless anti racist's like the person who left the note on this guys car. Im sure the current situation fuelled this idiot into doing this. They should realise that there is more to life than politics, Football for one.

I have to disagree that it is hard to find a balance in law. If someone commits an act of racism and are black or non-English then they should feel the full force of the law in the same way a white person or an Englishman would if the roles were reversed. Not doing so is dangerous and divisive.
If we are going to live by the mantra of 'well it is just one of those things' then we have to start dismantling the race industry which has grown up of the past 40 years and looks for any stick to beat white people with. In other words non-whites need to start being far less sensitive.

The person that left the note is pathetic and so is someone who goes to the press about it.
