New Rotherham manager Alan Stubbs says he is looking to make a move in the transfer window after joining the Championship club on June 1.

Neil Warnock was in charge of the Millers last season, but he decided to leave and former Hibernian boss Stubbs is the new man in the dugout.

Speaking to the Rotherham website today, Stubbs said: “Even in this short space of time there has been potentially over 100 players that have been made known to us.

“We have made contact with a number of clubs now in terms of loan signings and permanent signings. It is like a cat and mouse game now where we are waiting to see if there is anything in the enquiries that we have made to take the deals forward.

“It can be a lengthy process. We are going through lots of players, ticking them off and narrowing the names down.”
