Wales ensured top spot in Group B at Euro 2016 after a demolition job on Russia.

Chris Coleman's men ran riot against their opponents in Toulouse, sealing a 3-0 victory.

Goals from Aaron Ramsey, Neil Taylor and Gareth Bale ensured top spot for Wales after England failed to find a way past Slovakia.

It means they face a favourable tie in the last-16 despite losing to England on Thursday.

But who could they face in the knockout stages?



When will the game be played?

It will be played this Saturday, the 25th of June at 5pm.



Where will the game be played?

The game will be played in the Parc des Princes, Paris.

Home of French giants PSG, it has a capacity of 48,712.


Who will they play?

This is where it gets a bit complicated.

Wales will go up against one of the best third placed teams from Group A, C or D.

Group A has already been settled, with Albania finishing third. But with just three points and a poor goal difference, there is a strong chance that they will be eliminated.

So that would probably mean a clash with Northern Ireland from Group C or the Czech Republic from Group D, providing they beat Turkey.

If Spain beat Croatia, and Czechs beat Turkey, Croatia could drop down to 3rd, which for Wales has to be worst case, but very likely scenario.

After Northern Ireland's 1 - 0 loss tonight, could it be Wales V N.Ireland on Saturday ? (it's complicated to work out) - Hope not, we need as many British teams in as possible.

Looking at all the possible connotations. It's highly unlikely to be N Ireland. Most likely to be Albania. A bit of predicting bit using this...

Looks likely that it'll be one of the connotations that include Albania from group A. They're on 4 points so will finish as a best 3rd. Meaning there's 7 connotations that include them and that we will face them. And 3 connotations that include them that give us 3rd in group D.

So put simply...

70 percent chance it'll be Albania if my maths is ok?!

Either way the above still stands. Only one of those possibilities means us playing N Ireland. That's a 1 in 15 chance. Highly unlikely.

Well for me carl what's next is to win the next game and get into the quarter final if we don't do that it's the next one get to the World Cup finals starting against Moldova in sept but Ive got a gut feeling we are going to the quarter final

Odds on the teams in 3rd place will be from groups BCDF.

We will then be playing Turkey.

So we should be playing Northern Ireland? Best 3rd place from A,C and D? Northern Ireland has the better goal difference out of Albania and Turkey? Or am I missing something here?
