Former Cardiff City and Aberdeen defender Kevin McNaughton could be set for a return to his native Scotland this summer with several club's chasing his signature, HITC Sport understands.

McNaughton is currently a free agent after seeing out his contract at Championship new boys Wigan Athletic.

Dundee are weighing up a move for the former Scotland international as they look to bolster their defensive options.

Dundee United are also keen on McNaughton as they look to build a side capable of winning promotion back to the Scottish top flight at the first time of asking.

Class championship fullback especially compared to the likes of Taylor, FABIO, and Malone.
